  1. I think the most important thing that we did in Jefferson City is learn about the history in the Represantatives Lounge. Some people think that really Missouri history is not important, but really it is, so we could learn about what Missouri used to be, before everything became right.

  2. Ben: I thought the tree frog was really cool. It has little suction cups to hold on to things like trees. I think tree frogs are awesome.
Josh: My favorite thing was the Runge Center. I liked the Center because it provided us to see very cool animals up close and personal. It tought me that there are a lot of types of animals in Missouri!

  3. The he most interesting thing about the trip was that Daddy long legs arn't actually spiders. That was interesting because Ms.Hayes and Mrs.Holubs classes didn't know that before. It taught us not to be scared of them. It's important for a 4th grader because some 4th graders are scared of them and now they know not to be because they are not real spiders and can't hurt you. -James and Jae

  4. my favorite part of jefferson city was when we got to take a tour around the captial. It was interesting because we got to see the bridge panitng move. It is important for a fourth grader to learn about the state captial. One rule we had was when we were that we had to be quiet in the Captial

  5. Our favorite part of our field trip to Jefferson City!

Sista's Favorite: My favorite part was the Capitol Building,Corthouse, and the HUGE frog :)

Ian's Favorite: My favorite part of the Jefferson City field trip was going to the House of Represenatives. Even though we didn't get to see them working it was still interesting to see their desks, compututers, supplies, and their form of voting on bills.

  6. I think the bus ride was fun because we got to just sit back and relax after a long day. I liked the House of Represenatives Lounge. The Thomas Hart Benton painting was amazing. It taught me never give up and when people make fun of what you've done just go with the flow.

  7. I think the most important part of going to Jefferson City is going in the House Lounge. I think this is important because it explains Missouri's history. A lot of people don't think it is important but it's way more important then you think. Missouri's history explains how horrible and exsiting things in life. You need to know this because it can give you the key to life.

  9. I have two things that a fourth grader might need to know that is that the courts in the judicial branch run off of each other on their term. Second, the miral in the house lounge repersents Missouri's time period throw cival war times and other paticular stuff. The miral is a veryfamous thing in the Capital Building in Jefferson City. That's my two things 4th graders may need to know

The most interesting part of our field trip was when we looked around and learned about the captial building. It taught me that everybody makes mistakes and that anybody can make a difference. It is important for a fourth grader to learn about her state and how it works.

  13. 'One interesting thing that happened at the capitol building was that someone accidenly put 25 stars on the seal of MO. instead of 24. A coincodince that also happened was that there was a painting of the Mormons etting kicked out of MO. in the worker's lounge, and I am a Mormon. One thing I thought was AWESOME was.... the motor coach. Another thing that happned was on DS's people can get too crazy with Pictochat.
