    the bears symbolize courage and streth and if you read the paragraph about the states seal it tells you also many other symbols and what they symbolize P.S. we have some questions for Jefferson City

    On the Missouri State Flag page the MDCCCXX thing on the seal means 1820 in rumoral numbers what do you think it means what happened in 1820 and why so you think it is important

    We figured out why it should be on the seal because of MISSOURI COMPROMISE!!! It would be on the seal because it is a very important thing that happened in our HISTORY
